WEBBER – Grant Sharkey – 2nd of 2 NIGHTS IN LONDON
Doors: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
2nd NIGHT IN LONDON!
After a smash hit launch at the Edinburgh Festival, Webber!, the hilarious musical from Grant Sharkey about the life and politics of Andrew Lloyd Webber is going on a quick autumn tour.
In our bawdy little show, we follow the story of young Webber – a boy born without the ability to have original ideas – as he strives to fulfil his ultimate dream of becoming ‘filthy rich and f**king useless’. Guided by the Eternal Spirit of Universal Human Greed (who happens to look a lot like Margaret Thatcher) he creates some of the world’s most mediocre art whilst pretending to be the best.
Will he succeed?
Will he ever become a Lord?
Will he vote in favour of cutting tax credits on the poorest in our society?
Find out whilst laughing, and crying, at WEBBER!
