The Hotly-Anticipated 4th Debut Hour from Rising Star, Andy Barr (WIP)
Doors: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Rising Star, Andy Barr, has been in the stand-up game for a while, but yet to reach his apex due to a series of three inscrutable, high-concept, character based shows. Now, for his fourth debut hour, television’s Andy Barr (London Live news, 2017) goes back to basics with a selection of classic gags, thoughts, poetry, shouting, bitter recriminations, coruscating social critique, puns (reader invited to delete in accordance with personal taste).
Andy Barr is an award-winning comedian who has produced three Edinburgh Fringe shows, been seen on television (London Live) and Virgin Atlantic in-flight broadcasts. He is also the cohost of Chortle Award nominated podcast, Born Yesterday.
‘Skilfully written and delivered lines … Barr’s comic timing and gestures are impeccable’ **** – The List
‘delightful’ – Chortle
‘A funny boy’ – Tim Key, iNews Picks of the Fringe
