The Room:

Previously lost Liverpool post punk band The Room return with their second album since reforming, a long and worldly tale that takes in shapeshifters, witch finders and a tale of love.

Step Forward then The Room, Liverpool post punk legends, recently reformed, with their latest album The Telling.

The Telling follows a folk-horror story centred in a 17^th Century village, being told to the village’s inhabitants in turn for shelter. It is no surprise that, in time honoured concept album style, The Telling started out as an idea for a screenplay. To add to its qualifications, it contains a lyric sheet in the style of the Gutenberg Bible.
