Suchandrika & Michael Kunze: Works in Progress
Doors: 7:45 pm - 10:15 pm
Suchandrika Chakrabarti and Michael Kunze have two tasty WIPs fresh out of the oven – get ‘em while they’re hot!
Doors open at 7:45pm and there will be a 15-minute interval before the second show starts at 9:15pm.
In her sell-out second solo show, Doomscrolling, Suchandrika (hosts Good News / Bad News here at Aces; writer for Have I Got News and Radio 4; Funny Women ‘One To Watch’ 2020) tries to explain the news to her niece (5), and speculates about the future (because no one can say she’s wrong). There will be talk of headlines, politics and silly wigs (also the wearing of said wigs). Sold out at VAULT Festival 2023.
Suchandrika’s debut solo show, “I Miss Amy Winehouse”, was selected for the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival in Amsterdam 2022, and, after a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe that year, transferred to The Pleasance in London.
Praise for previous work:

A work-in-progress of Michael Kunze’s new solo show “Infinity Mirror”. Expect sketches, characters, songs, and a bit of everything else.
Mitchell Coony knows what people say about him. He’s washed up. Bitter. Incredibly handsome and supremely talented. But does anyone know the real Mitchell Coony? He wants to tell the truth. Open up and be vulnerable. Watch as he drops names, drops his guard, and finally … gets real.
“Damn near-perfect hour of unbridled fun”
★★★★★ Ed Fringe Review
“Go feed yourself at this banquet of bonkers”
★★★★ Musical Theatre Review
