The UK’s favourite and funniest Jewish stand-up comedian Ivor Dembina (The Guardian ****), makes a welcome return to Aces and Eights (the venue is immediately next to the exit to Northern Line tube station, Tufnell Park). See his delightfully funny solo show about the Jewish football fan who, tired of being expected to support the ‘Jewish’ north London club Tottenham Hotspur, decides to swear allegiance instead to his own ‘more earthy’ local south London team, Millwall F.C. They say Jews are funny, Ivor Dembina proves it!
