Mad Dogs:

In 2016, after several lineup changes, the band found its dimension and stability by starting an artistic and creative process
oriented towards garage rock and high energy rock’n’roll sounds.
In the autumn of the same year, Mad Dogs entered the Go Down Studio in Savignano sul Rubicone to record Ass Shakin’ Dirty
Rollers, their real first album, mixed and mastered by Alfredo Epi Gentili and published by Go Down Records in April 2017. It is an
impactful album, written and recorded in a short time to photograph the band without filters.
In June 2019, Mad Dogs, with the experience gained and a new awareness, recorded their second album We Are Ready To
Testify at Teatro Delle Voci Studios in Treviso. Mixed and mastered at Daniel Grego’s Mal De Testa Recording Studio, it was
released by Go Down Records in October 2020. The album shows off a powerful sound, underlining the quartet’s rock’n’roll
attitude and love for garage rock sounds, but also giving space to more refined 60s and 70s atmospheres. The album was
received very positively by critics and the band took it on tour, despite the difficulties due to the pandemic.
In 2022 the band participated in the compilation “Rollin’ with the Best” for the twenty-year career of the British group New
Generation Superstars, with a cover entitled “Out Of My Head”. In spring 2023 their first 45 rpm Solitary Walker’s Blues/A New
Dawn was released by Go Down Records with two unreleased songs; two songs with the right ingredients: guitars, groove and a
catchy melody that the band promoted live in Italy and Europe.
The new album entitled The Future Is Now will be released in September 2025 by Go Down Records.
Recorded, mixed and mastered in Padova, at Daniel Grego’s Mal De Testa Recording Studio, The Future Is Now is a rock’n’roll
manifesto, which has its roots in a unique sound that goes from Detroit to Sweden and arrives in Australia and that tells all the
passion and energy of the band!
