Dress code: Pirate garb is encouraged, but not essential. There will be a selection of pirate gear for sale.
Row, me bully boys! For one night only, Frankie Heartless and the Heartless Rogues are here to bring their sea shanty and folk favourites to Aces & Eights !
Frankie also performs on board the Golden Hinde, at steampunk events, and occasionally as a drag king, all alongside running the Honor Oak Shanty Choir.
The rogues are made up of professional Actor-Musicians and session musicians whose training includes Mountview and RADA. Please note the rogues lineup may vary from show to show.
“Our pirate host is humorous, raucous, and warmly welcoming – skilled at striking just the right balance between immersive costume and engaging banter. We’re made to feel like guests aboard a pirate ship, swept up in song, story, and the sway of a sea-faring night. The audience lapped it up, especially when joining in with the many rousing choruses.” – Fringe Review
“Adorned in fabulous costumes, “Frankie Heartless & The Heartless Rogues” delight and captivate the room with good humour, foot stomping and high energy numbers. It would be hard not to sing and dance along, but this is encouraged here, as is dressing up. They even have a limited number of pirate hats for sale, for those who wished they’d dressed appropriately. We hope to see more from The Heartless Rogues in future.”- South London Life
