Leslie Gold: Tall Girl Energy
It’s hard to smash the glass ceiling when you can’t reach it, but Leslie Gold (as seen at the Comedy Store) takes a running leap at the challenges of being a small woman in a world built for the average man. The result is a funny, thoughtful show, finding laughs in some surprising places – including the ladies’ loo.
Reviews for Leslie’s debut show at EdFringe 2024: “Snappy observational wit… a warm, inviting and affable show.” ★★★★ -Jewish Renaissance
“Witty, engaging and a keen eye for observation… the perfect mix.” ★★★★ -Theatre & Art Reviews
Audience reviews from Edinburgh:
“Lovely show delivered with an engaging and cheeky style. Leaves wanting more – thoroughly recommend.”
“Smart, relatable and so, so funny!”
“A light touch belying the fact this is a debut hour.”

101 Rules for a Better World (by Comedians)
Comedians put the world to rights! Host Leslie Gold and panellists Adam Larter and Sophie Sconcia (and one more to be announced) present ideas to improve the world at large. Imagine the opposite of Room 101, adding good stuff instead of banishing bad (in theory anyway). Whether the rules are adopted is down to an audience vote. There’s no way of knowing what bonkers ideas the panel (and audience) will come up with – the only actual guarantee is that hilarity will ensue. Basically, it’s an excuse for bants with a view of making the world a better place!
This new panel show is already a hit with audiences who have loved the banter, the positivity, the surprising dark turns a rule can sometimes take – and of course when Horny the horn gets involved. 101 Rules is launching as a podcast later this year – get involved from the start!
