DOUBLE FEATURE: JAMIE MYKAELA & CHLOE JACOBS
Doors: 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Undercover Comedy is proud to present he two filthiest/funniest broads based in Oxford; teamed up for a special double feature in the most claustrophobic basement venue in London.
CHLOE JACOBS presents her debut solo show Twilight: Breaking Down.
The year is 2009. The location is, physically, Slough, Berkshire and, spiritually, Forks, Washington. Chloe and her 11-year-old best pals have become obsessed with all things Twilight. Soon, enjoying the franchise is not enough for these voracious and unbalanced tweens. They must immerse themselves in this world and so Daughters of Volterra, a 30,000-word self-insert erotic fanfiction is born.
Join comedian and improviser Chloe Jacobs as she guides you through the hilarious and fevered imaginings of her vampire-obsessed youth. This show asks the important questions: what does it mean to be a superfan? What compels us to write? And… Bella! Where the hell have you been, loca?
After destroying venues and house parties from Melbourne to West Hollywood, this show is the triumphant return of JAMIE MYKAELA‘s multi-sell out, five star “Feminist Cabaret Masterpiece” (Gutter Culture) Jamie Mykaela: DADDY.
The innocent, the nymphet, the groupie and the wh*re collide in a mess of no-holds-barred comedy, rock’n’roll, and signature scathing wit.
Australia’s cult favourite comedy-cabaret riot grrrl is skewering all her own – and your dad’s – favourite songs, calling out their singers’ underage backstage exploits, and delving into the wonderful world of 1970s groupie culture – and the call is coming from inside the house.
‘Phenomenal… Hers is a voice that defies belief, rich and throaty and powerful.’ ★★★★★ Gutter Culture
‘Comedy-cabaret at its sharp-tongued finest.’ ★★★★★ Fringe Feed
‘Hilarious, thought-provoking and disturbing… A hat trick of comedy genius’ Daily Info
