Soft Riot

Soft Riot is the project of Canadian-British, Glasgow-based synth artist Jack Duckworth (JJD). JJD has clocked in a number of decades of musical output in various bands and projects, including half a dozen art-damaged punk and hardcore bands as well as first-wave post-punk revivalists Radio Berlin (1998-2005). Moving from Vancouver to London in the late 2000s, Soft Riot came into full being, having released over a dozen acclaimed albums and EPs over ten years and staging numerous tours around Europe.

Soft Riot’s latest album “No.” was released in summer 2024 on Possession Records / Wave Tension Records and a new album is in the works that will see the light of day in early 2026.
