Chris Young: Cereal For Dinner
Doors: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
“What’s for dinner, Mum?” “Cereal, son.”
Cereal for Dinner recalls the life of a young man desperately trying to escape the clutches of an unforgiving 90s council estate, the kind where getting caught wearing cheap trainers was essentially a death sentence.
With bundles of physical jokes, energetic material, and nostalgia, this show is one not to be missed, unlike the entry for “father” on his birth certificate.
Chris Young takes his everyday working-class experiences and childhood observations and fires them out like a shotgun of high energy. This show is “proper laugh out loud” – Hull Comedy Festival.
“Frenetic, upbeat, a real tour de force on stage.” – Comedy Mash
“A beautifully relentless man and very funny.” – Laughter Lounge
Show starts at 6:30 p.m.
Duration: 60 mins
