Third Revival make folk music for the 3rd millennium.

Rupert and Bex both have a varied musical history encompassing rock, house, disco and more, but found folk to be the antidote to such commercial endeavours, and each other to be the muse.

Born in folk clubs, raised in lockdown, “Third Revival take the tradition of folk song and rework it bringing out all the darkness you always suspected was there.”

Jennie Higgins is a traditional folk singer and historian known for her acappella traditional arrangements of folk songs that tell women’s stories.

Since she was just five years old Jennie has been singing in folk clubs across the West Country and dancing as part of a lakeland clogg troupe. The folk arts run through her veins and the traditions of the English folk scene is highly important to her both musically and academically.

Sophie Crawford is a North London based folk singer offering fresh and exciting interpretations of traditional songs accompanying herself on accordion, dulcimer and ukulele.

Her debut album ‘Silver Pin’ was released in 2018 and was Mainly Norfolk’s 2018 album of the year.

As a performer she has worked on the West End (War Horse, Amelie the Musical) and toured internationally (Translunar Paradise).
