Saturday 2nd March 2019
@ Aces And Eights Bar
Mining the deep subterranean palace that is Aces and Eights' vault basement...
Intox Extravaganza are a mechanism for musical eclecticism, which is their specialism always proffering an intoxicating gumbo of the most extravagantly enticing left-field music...
Deep in the bowels of Tufnell Park, another Intox Extravaganza is gestating for March.
We return to subterranean realms of Aces and Eights Saloon Bar, right opposite the tube station (from whence trains run all night long), for more lovely, leftfield music to leap from...
Tom Scott and David Aylward marry improvised percussion, sax, synths and effects alongside the most visual of spectacles...like no one else. A true one-off!

YVE are Influenced by the likes of Robert Wyatt, Current 93, Scott Walker, Miles Davis, Bjork, Nick Cave, The Residents, Death Grips and Iannis Xenakis - without sounding much like any of them...
Ahead of the release of their debut album, ‘Dismembered Tales’ YVE will take you to places far more threatening than the Tufnell-Park basement in which they will be performing…
Driving beats, driven words. jewel carriageway chords. Keyboard plus Ableton (Nik the Deks), Bass (Elwell) and Voice (Zolan Quobble). It’s got that biodynamic, organic whole grain texture and that lively lambic yeasty rhythm. It hits 260°C, when it’s baking.
