Natural Born Storytellers Tuesday 20th September 2022 at Aces & Eights » We could be hanging by a thread, at our wits end or the final straw. It could be your finest threads hanging in your closet, or your most cherished, well-worn, item of clothing. Maybe you have a story about threading the needle, balance, a finely poised situation or simply teaching someone how to sew. Needles, cotton, the gallows pole, a beautiful gift you hung from the wall, ceiling or your neck or maybe you have a story about the time you were strung up, tethered down or simply just hanging around. Maybe there is just a common thread running though your story. So put on your Tuesday night threads and come on down to share our wonderful array of true stories tenuously linked to our theme… who knows… you might even share one yourself.

Our true storytelling shows are friendly, open, intimate and honest and the stories moving, life-affirming, shocking, captivating or just plain hilarious. It's different to a comedy show where the expectation is laughter... here laughter comes, but it's a part of a whole breadth of other emotions and reactions to the stories and it makes for a rich, fulfilling evening's entertainment. So come on down and experience one of the friendliest and most memorable nights of true-life storytelling.

Anyone from the audience is encouraged to share true stories alongside our pre-booked and regular storytellers. There is a great mix of stage experience on offer and it really adds to the spontaneity of the evening.
